The SYJ quick-action oil pressure relay is a newly developed protective relay by our company, which converts the rate of pressure variation inside the oil tank into an electrical signal. It safeguards the oil tanks of equipment including transformers, power capacitors and reactors. The relay actuates when the pressure rise rate inside the oil tank exceeds 3±1 kPa/s, and its response time shortens as the pressure gradient increases.Thanks to its operational characteristics, the relay can trigger an alarm and cut off the power supply promptly while the internal tank pressure is still at a low level during sudden severe transformer failures. Compared with conventional gas relays, it features higher operational reliability and sensitivity, drastically mitigating losses caused by transformer faults. It is recommended to connect the electrical signal of this product to the tripping circuit during application.
 
This relay supports dual-channel electrical signal output: one channel for tripping connection and the other for connection to a computer system.

Operating Conditions
 
1. Applicable to oil tanks of oil-immersed transformers, power capacitors, reactors and other sealed oil-filled electrical equipment;
2. Ambient temperature range: -45°C to +50°C.
