Product Overview
 
The YZ series pointer-type oil level gauge is designed for oil level indication and high/low limit oil level alarm of conservators on oil-immersed transformers and on-load tap-changers. It can also be applied for liquid level indication and alarm of various open-type pressure vessels or those with low internal pressure. Meanwhile, its signal transmission circuit converts the oil level signal into a standard 4–20 mA industrial current signal for transmission to the control room, enabling remote oil level monitoring and alarming.
 

Working Principle
 
Developed in compliance with the latest technical requirements for digitally remote-transmitted oil level gauges for smart substations, this digital oil level gauge represents a new-generation digital product. It operates by transmitting data collected by the angular displacement sensor to the substation terminal via analog current signals to realize real-time oil level monitoring in line with relevant specifications. The angular displacement sensor outputs an analog voltage signal of 0–3.3 V, which is buffered and amplified by an operational amplifier before being converted into a 4–20 mA signal and an RS485 signal.
 
 
Operating Conditions
 
Permissible ambient operating temperature: -30°C to +50°C.
Installation site shall be free from severe vibration and jolting.
